I started doing full descriptions for each of the Reclaimed series art pieces. Ill be posting more throughout the coming days!

Reclaimed Series
“10” is a sculpture built with salvaged pieces of history. The base is made of hardwood flooring made by the Thomas Forman Hardwood Flooring & Co, in Petoskey MI, in the late 1800’s. The number plaque, boat fitting, iron rod, and sprocket were all found in the woods on my property in Petoskey MI. The guitar was sourced from a flea market in the Thumb of MI.
This sculpture is the first instrument sculpture of the Reclaimed Series, highlighting the use of salvaged materials, and attempting to reclaim the youth and beauty of otherwise useless objects.
Created with Acrylic & Oil paints, Sharpie Pen , hardwood flooring, Iron, brass and clear coated.
